Vegan Pancake Syrup

Vegan Pancake Syrup Recipe

You can prepare your pancake using the pancake mix. I oftenly use Bisquick Pancake mix or prepare a Buckwheat pancake and then pour this vegan maple syrup over those pancakes and enjoy the delight. This pancake syrup recipe is super easy to make with just 4 ingredients. This recipe is not only vegan, but also dairy-free and gluten-free. Let’s have a look at the recipe now.

Ingredients

1 cup Water
½ cup Brown Sugar
½ cup Normal Sugar
½ tsp Maple Extract

Directions

Take a small-sized saucepan and let it heat up at medium flame

Add water, brown sugar, normal sugar and maple syrup in the hot pan while keeping them in the medium flame level

Now, let the syrup boil for some time

As the syrup gets thick, take it out of the heat

Vegan Swiss Meringue Buttercream Recipe

Vegan Swiss Meringue Buttercream

The icing you get with this recipe is fluffy, light and melts quickly in mouth. While decorating this icing, you can also put over some vegan custard in the center of the icing for different look. There are different ways of preparing this recipe. American way, Italian way, Swiss way, may be more (Can’t be sure). I found Italian way quite difficult to prepare so, I prepare in the following form.

Ingredients

215 oz Cans of Chickpeas
1 cup Bean Water
1 ½ cups Vegan Butter
2 tsp Vanilla Extract (Can also use Vanilla Beans)
1 cup Confectioners’ Sugar
1 cup Granulated Sugar
½ tsp Cream of Tartar
1 cup Vegetable Shortening

Directions

Take a saucepan, keep it on stove top at medium flame

Add chickpeas water and sugar to the pan and now keep it on high flame

Let the mixture boil, till then, beat the Aquafaba with the beater. Keep the speed high for it to get the glossy and thick finish

Now, in another bowl, add cream of tartar with the confectionery sugar, then mix it to the aquafaba cream and stir continuously till the sugar melts

Add the chickpea water mixture to the cream mixture, add shortening, vegan butter, and whipp the entire mixture in high speed with the beater

Now, add the vanilla extract to the cream and you frosting is ready.

Vegan Custard Recipe

Vegan Custard Recipe

The recipe for making custard is quite simple, even a beginner can prepare it easily. You can prepare this custard in the flavor you like. For eg: If you like to have vanilla flavor in the custard, you can add vanilla beans into it, or if you wish to have butterscotch flavored custard, then you can add butterscotch beans or cubes to it.

You can use this vegan custard on your cake instead of cream, like on you can make a layer of it on you rhubarb and hazelnut cake too. Or you can also have a layer of this custard on your cupcakes or ice creams. Here, I have prepared Vanilla flavored custard. Let’s have a look at the recipe now.

Ingredients

1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
2 cups Dairy-Free milk (I have used Soy Milk)
¼ cup Corn Flour
4 tbsp Sugar
¼ cup Water
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 pinch Salt
1 pinch Turmeric (for the color in custard)

Directions

Take a small saucepan and add vanilla extract, sugar, salt and milk into the pan and prepare a mixture out of it

Now, take another bowl and make a paste of corn flour and water

Then, add this paste of corn flour into the saucepan (with the mixture in step 1)

Heat the saucepan on the stove top at a medium temperature and add lemon juice into the mixture

Continuously keep stirring the mixture on the stove until it boils and thickens

Once the mixture gets thick, take it off the heat and stove

Now, add the pinch of turmeric into this mixture for the color in your custard and let it cool at the room temperature
