Most events have VIP lounges where the cool people can hang out, enjoy some grown-up drinks and maybe some fancy bites. At the Vegan Sweets Con, the VIP crowd is going to party like it’s grade school – with milk and cookies.
“There will be free-flowing plant milk all day, almond milk, coconut milk, and more that’s where the VIPs will be. There will be a ton of different cookies and goodies so you can just go crazy in there,” Brown said.
Who Shall Register?
We call all the vegans to register with their tasty dessert recipes!
Following are the rules:
About the Event
Vegans with a sweet tooth will have no problem filling their bellies in Long Beach, thanks to a food event devoted to the sweet world of decadent, animal-free desserts.
“It’s all things vegan sweets, everything you can think of, all kinds of combinations. We focus on sweets but, have savory too” said Kawani Brown, co-organizer of the Vegan Sweets Con.
That’s where vegans will be able to get their fill of desserts, cookies, dairy-free milk, even some “ribs” and mac and cheese where more than 30 vendors expected to attend. We were also supposed to be including Licorice candies and Twizzlers as appetizers but upon close inspection from VegansFirst, it was established that either of these aren’t vegan because of that we didn’t kept Licorice candies and Twizzlers in our event.
