Vegan Bechamel Sauce Recipe for Vegan Lasagna and Pasta

Vegan Bechamel Sauce Recipe

Although not a perfect dessert recipe, I use my Bechamel sauce for a number of purposes. I use it for dishes like Pasta, Pesto, Fries, Sandwich, truffles, Lasagna, salad dressing and cake dressing. Yes, it might sound a little different but, I do use it for cake dressing too. It gives the sweet flavory taste to my cake. I tried it with the rhubarb cake and it tastes just perfect.

If you use it with the veggies or pasta, it gives you a very unique gravy taste. This white sauce is cheesy and creamy which can be used in any recipe of your choice. Overall, you get a sweet, tangy and flavory taste with the Bachamel sauce. Also, with this vegan variation of Bechamel sauce, it becomes more healthy and environmental friendly.

How to Make Vegan Bechamel Sauce

Enjoy the taste of this amazingly tasty béchamel sauce in several dishes. You can also get a thicker version of this sauce when you milk some amount of corn flour in the mixture. If you wish to have sweeter sauce than this one, then you can try out the vegan custard.

Vegan Custard Recipe Using Corn Flour and Vanilla Extract

Vegan Custard Recipe

Out of a variety of desserts, I decided to make custard, as you can use custard for different dishes. You can make any dessert super smooth and creamy with this vegan custard. Sometimes, I even add fruits to the custard and have it. It tastes yumm. Of course, you cannot add citric fruits but, can add any other fruits to this vegan custard and enjoy the tasty dessert.

Vegan Custard Recipe

Once cool, you can refrigerate it and then enjoy the delicacy. If your mixture isn’t getting thicker in a minute or 2, then add some more corn flour to it. You can garnish it with some cherries or vanilla beans on the top.

It takes less than 10 minutes to prepare this recipe. If you are using this custard as a topping on you cake or your ice cream or on a salad, you do not need to refrigerate it, just let it cool down and then use it up as toppings.
